Apples

Thanks to one of the local home ed groups, we have finally visited the community orchard we live a mile or so away from. I knew that ‘No Man’s Orchard’ existed and roughly how to get to it. If I’d known just what a peaceful space it was I’d not have taken anywhere near as long to go. We were blessed with a really warm day. The children spent over four hours just messing about; picking apples, climbing trees, catching lizards. This was Autumn and learning-through-play at their best.
