34/52 :: Folkestone

#1 At your best in the wind and by the water. Always.

#2 And you just want to climb, clamber, and jump. But never too close to the sea.

We headed down to the Lower Leas coastal park in Folkestone to check out an Alice in Wonderland fun day except the rain was so torrential we arrived to hoards of people leaving in their droves, and the fun day all packed up! Ten minutes of sitting it out in the car was all that was needed. The sun came out and we made the most of it down on the beach instead. Bright, and breezy the boys split up in their typical fashion; one down by the water’s edge letting the wind and waves create his fun, the other climbing steps and jumping from walls.

Today I’m frantically getting the last few bits together as we head off on holiday to France tomorrow. Since I’ve taken NO photos yet this week (I’m blaming the horrid rain we’ve had most of the week) I’m under pressure to snap something, anything, this afternoon otherwise there will be no week 35! I’ve been promised internet connection this time but if I go strangely quiet for a fortnight, you’ll know it’s because I’m unplugged and enjoying it 😊 Until then, here are some more from Folkestone…

  1. There’s definitely nothing wrong with your camera mojo! These pics have made me want to fly home [currently holed up at my mother’s while our derelict house is put back into some form of order], crank open Lightroom and make use of all of those photos I’ve taken and then squirreled away into cyber-darkness.

    I’m feeling rather relieved that I’ve managed to reconnect to your space. I was certainly adrift for quite a while.
