We were introduced to a wonderful local community park we didn’t know existed by our home education group. What a fantastic place, especially on a day in May that was so warm you could have been fooled into thinking it was high summer. The space is wide and open, with meadows and wooded areas but with the added bonus of a skate park and bike track, as well as play equipment. We spent hours there and returned home grubby, exhausted, and a tiny bit glowing from so much time spent in the sun. A perfect kind of day.
